Residents in Wards 8, 7, and 5 generally don't feel safe walking around in their neighborhood, playgrounds, or any other public space. The youth are also more likely to witness/ experience violence and crime. They are also more likely to have a negative experience with police.

Proposed Health Policy: Educate middle and high school students better about violence and safety. Enforce gun control but less harshly to avoid a shootout, or the death of citizens. Train police to stay more calm and to only shoot when needed in situations, so relations between citizens and police is less tense, negative, or hostile.
