  • Twins are born
  • Raised by a wolf
  • Growing up
  • One day the two twins Romulus and Remus were born from their mother that was a princess Rhea Silvia and their father Mars, the god of war. The king who ruled over them where they lived was afraid of being overthrown by the twins one day so, he through them into the Tiber river hoping they would die.
  • Founding a new city
  • when the two boys where coming to a stop a She-wolf came to take them to the cave to raise and protect the twins from harm. Other animals would help supply food for them. One day a group of shepherds came by and one of them took in the boys to their home.
  • Remus is killed
  • when the boys were older they new how to be leaders. So, when they went off on their own Remus was captured and was sent to see the king, so he found out who he really was. His brother got help from shepherds to save his brother. They killed the king and let down the crown for the opportunity to have their own city.
  • Rome is founded
  • The twins soon found where they wanted their city to be but they did not agree on the same hill to place their city on. So, to determine which hill to use they looked for signs from the gods. Remus saw six vultures first but, Romulus saw twelve, they both thought they won.
  • Romulus built a wall around the hill he wanted to place the city but in the process Remus was making fun of it and one time jumped over the wall trying to showing off because he was jealous and mad. So, Romulus killed Remus.
  • Romulus became ruler of his city because his brother wasn’t their to stop him so, he continued to work and advance his city. He claimed it his on April 21, 753 B.C. naming it Rome after himself. He created a army, he made the 100 most noble people patricians and made the elders the senate. The city grew very powerful.
