Ugh! My elbow is hurting me so much! And my fingers are really sore.
Did someone ask for help?
I can give you advice to help prevent common workstation Injuries.
I'm the god of ergonomics I help match the worker's body to the physical demands of their jobs.
How can you help me?
Who are you?
Well you are probably in the early stages of developing Trigger finger and Tendinitis in your elbow tendon.
Speaking of injuries my elbow and my fingers are really bothering me.
Oh no! What do I do?
But the key to prevent CTDs, RMIs, and RSIs is to have a proper workstation.
For starters you should take a break and stretch every hour.
Could you show me how to make my workstation a proper one?
You also need proper Chair, Monitor, Keyboard, and Mouse.
Firstly, you should have proper posture.
Remember: Sit back in chair Elbows at 90 degrees.
Thank you god of Ergonomics!
If you follow these rules not only will you have followed proper workstation etiquette but you will have prevented many injuries such as arthritis, trigger finger, bursitis, tendonitis, carpal tunnel and many more.
Your workstation should meet these guidelines: Monitor about one arm length away. Use a glare filter. Your chair must have Lumbar support, Height adjustment, five legs for stability, rounded front, and five casters for mobility. You can also use a wrist rest when not typing.
