Farming Was Discovered!!!
Before the Agricultural Revolution, men would hunt animals. The men were almost always busy finding food. The women gather berries. Because the men were always out hunting, the mothers would take their babies with them, and that meant the babies could get killed or stolen by wild animals. People were nomads
Now THIS is luxury...
One day, the people realized they could domesticate animals and get food much easier. They also learned they could plant berries instead of having to go out and gather it.
People domesticated animals and ate them They also drank cows' milk. They planted berries and other crops to eat. Because they did not have to go out and gather food, the women could simply keep their babies at home, and the population grew
Trading With Other Villages
After they started planting crops and domesticating animals, the people began to build more suitable homes. The man-made shelters offered much more protection than caves, and they provided better shelter from rain and snow.
Eventually, the people produced so much food that not everyone needed to have their own farms anymore. Many people tried new jobs like fishing and building houses.
Would you like to start fishing with me?
Yes! Of course!
People began travelling to other towns and villages, offering more options for food, houses and shelter, all things they were previously lacking.
