In defense of the great hall of Herot. Beowulf courageously jumped into the boiling mere. The water, as hot as lava, covered him and for hours as he sank through the waves.
A greedy creature saw Beowulf exploring the bottom of its world. it grabs him savagely with its claws but could not harm him.
Unaware of what just had happened, he realized he was in a dark, cave-like battle hall.
Then, he saw a wicked water witch and swiftly swung his sword at her. After a long and exhausting battle, Beowulf realized he had an opportunity to win.
The battle with the shepherd of evil's mother came to an end as he stabbed her with the sword and killed her.
Beowulf then came victoriously out if the water holding a symbol of his victory, the beast's head.
