Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • After Mr.Jones is gone, everything runs flawlessly. Sadly, Old Major dies, and now the only problem is that the two leaders, Snowball and Napoleon, are always disputing. They never can agree, so all the other animals have to vote based on their speeches, and Snowball tends to win.
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • There was once a farm with a careless human, Mr.Jones, looking after it. One day, the oldest and wisest pig, Old Major, proposed that they stage a rebellion to be ruled by themselves as animals.
  • Conflict
  • Social Class
  • Falling Action
  • After a while, Napoleon reveals his inner dictator and chases out his competition, Snowball, with guard dogs he trained himself. All of the animals on the farm look on in horror, and Napoleon takes control over everything.
  • Resolution
  • Because they're better than you'll ever be, stupid hen
  • Why're you hanging out with filthy humans, Napoleon?
  • Tension between upper and lower class
  • Exploitation of those lower than them and abusing power
  • The farm starts to run poorly. There is not nearly enough food for everyone, they need supplies that they don't have, good choices aren't being made, etc. Life isn't going smoothly, and for every problem they have, they blame it on someone other than themselves, such as Snowball
  • As time passes, the pigs start to break and bend the rules Old Major put in place. They start drinking alcohol, sleeping in beds, wearing clothes, killing other animals, and more. But the worst thing they did was befriend the one who they swore to fight, the humans. Only the pigs did this, and the rest of the farm just watched as everything they worked for came to ruin.
