My family and I were on our way to drop my mom and I off at a One Direction concert– my favorite band at the time. I was younger then, and I didn't own a cellphone, but my mind hadn't given this much importance; instead, it was trying to keep calm as I would soon be watching the loves of my life– live.
I wasn't able to hold my excitement, and I felt as if nothing could ruin the moment, until...
I realized I had nothing to record the best day of my life with!
I went after my dad to borrow his phone, but it was too late and we didn't coincide. They were long gone.
I was devastated, but my mom made me understand that I had the best recorder– my memory.
Then, the boys came onstage and began singing, and I quickly forgot about the issue. To me, they were omnipotent, and no matter what, nothing would make my smile fade away.
