Storyboard Text

  • In the town of Safeville, all the residents have one thing clear, "Buckle up your seat if you wanna stay on your feet!"
  • Our protagonist, Gina, though, isn't all too thrilled about it. She feels its an unnecessary measure that the old folks use to keep them from having fun...Let's see how her story plays out.
  • Ah, what a nice day to go for a drive. School has just been so stressful lately...
  • Woah, where did this car come from?! And why isn't it stopp-
  • Like Gina, 53% of drivers and passengers (in 2009) killed in car crashes were not wearing a seat belt. Contrary to what she believed, wearing a seat belt reduces the risk of fatal injury to front seat passenger car occupants by 45%, and risk of moderate-to-critical injury by 50%.
  • Also like Gina, people not wearing seat belts are 30 times more likely to be ejected from their seat.
  • And so, I hope you learned something today from our trip to Safeville. Remember kids, "Buckle up your seat if you wanna stay on your feet!"
