Coretta met her future husband, Martin Luther King, Jr. at Boston's New England Conservatory of Music while getting degrees in voice and violin
She had four children, Yolanda, Martin, Dexter, and Bernice.
She worked on the Movement with her husband by speaking in front of many groups.
She also participated in the Montgomery Buss Boycott in 1955.
After her husband's assassination, she built the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. (Building inaccurate)
