  • O, bid me leap, rather than marry Paris, From off the battlements of yonder tower;
  • In this scene Juliet professes that she will kill herself rather than marry paris.
  •  I’ll give thee remedy.
  • Friar Laurence gives Juliet a potion that will put her in a deathlike state
  • Take thou this vial, being then in bed, And this distillèd liquor drink thou off,
  • Juliet will look dead to her family and Romeo will come get her and they'll live happily ever after.
  • The roses in thy lips and cheeks shall fade.To paly ashes, thy eyes' windows fall. Like death when he shuts up the day of life.
  • Friar tells Juliet to pretend she wants to marry Paris so that hear parents don't suspect anything.
  • Hold, then. Go home, be merry. Give consent. To marry Paris. 
  • I will marry Paris !
  • Good. We will push the wedding up.
  • Juliet takes the potion
