  • After the battle of Saratoga, the French joined the Americans to fight the British and eventually won.
  • How was foreign aid helpful? Who contributed?

  • It is important because at valley forge a lot of soldiers were killed. Washington got 8 days of food instead of 8 months, so a lot of people died of starvation. Also, it was freezing and they didn't have the best clothes so some people would die from the cold.
  • How did the war affect families?
  • He delivered the words that would salvage the revolution. Washington commanded that the pamphlet be read aloud to his dispirited men.
  • How were Loyalists treated in the colonies? Do you think this was the right thing to do? Why or why not?

  • there were people that helped train soldiers and people that gave America money. There was Fredric von Steuben, Juan de Miralles, Tadeusz Kosciuszko, and many more.
