  • Part II
  • Part III
  • In part one of Act III, Prospero questions Miranda about her and Dorinda's actions. They talk about Miranda and Dorinda saw a man. Miranda is asked if she loves him but she tells him no because she doesn't know him.
  • Part IV
  • Later after talking to Miranda, Prospero talks to Dorinda about how she saw a man. They talk about how Dorinda is head over heels in love with Prospero. Prospero is later angry at her and attempts to convince her that Hippolito is evil and poisonous.
  • Part V
  • Dorinda explains that Hippolito kissed her hand and that it seemed that she was afraid that he would have swallowed it whole. Prospero tells her to stay away from him so that he can force disinterest between them.
  • Part VI
  • After talking to Dorinda, Prospero later talks to Ariel about the people on the island. Ariel tells him that people are sad and drunk. She also notifies them that people are hungry and their only comfort is music. Ariel later tells him that she will keep watching them but in hidden sight.
  • After this exchange, the scene changes to Gonzalo, Alonzo, and Antonio. Prospero sends Ariel to them so they don't die and Ariel gives them food. They discuss about how they're weary to try it, but they consider if the food is alright they'll eat it.
  • The scene changes again to Trincalo, Caliban, and Sycorax. Caliban introduces Sycorax to Trincalo, his future wife. We learn that Trincalo is marrying Sycorax because she is powerful and knows the island well.
