  • What are we going to talk about today Mr. Joe?
  • The first slave will be staring off a $100
  • Get away from her!

  • We do not treat our slaves like that!
  • Book Store 
  •  Narrator  Mr. Joe that teacher Uncle Tom's Cabin  Harriet Beecher Stowe writes a book about slavery and it's going to go upset south and the north. 
  • what if you were in their positions  
  • everyone is a person it doesn't matter their color or what they look like
  • quit slavery 
  • Slavery wrong! 
  • In 1852 Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote a story about slavery because she seen a slave that was a mom get token away form her daughter which kinda sacred her. She also wrote the book because she thought that slavery was wrong and she wanted to do something about it.    
  • We do not abuse are slaves 
  • Slavery helps us we can't just get rid of it.
  • Slavery is not wrong! 
  • Aslo when Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote this book she made a big uprising that not just only upset the south but the north too. 
  • Civil War
  • When the northern read Harriet Beecher Stowe book it made them mad but after they got over the fact that they were just sitting on their butts and not doing nothing about slavery they decided to do something about slavery.   
  • When the south read her book it made them really mad because in Harriet Beecher book it kinda said that they were abusing their slaves but they said them. 
  • Her book and what she wrote was a big step to the civil war and it also opened the northern eyes to do something about slavery.
