  • At the New School
  • I'm so excited for today! Hope everyone likes me.
  • In the Classroom
  • Good morning class, today we have a new student, Rachael. Rachael why don't you tell us about yourself.
  • I love sports and my favourite colour is green.
  • In Art Class
  • Rachael, don't you think that outfit is a bit too 'Blue'. You look like a boy.
  • What are you talking about Lucy, Rachael IS a boy. I mean look at her.
  • It was Rachael's first day in her new school and she was more excited than ever. She looked forward to making friends and learning new things.
  • In the Playground, during Recess
  • Hey you! New girl, get out. Sarah and Lucy told everyone what you're like. No one wants you here!
  • Rachael is introduced to the other students by her teacher. Everyone stares at her with mean looks on their faces. They judge her by her clothes, hair and body language. The other girls assume Rachael is "boyish" because she has a passion for sports.
  • On the School Bus, on the Way Home
  • Hey, you look a bit upset. Is anything wrong? Can I sit next to you?
  • Lucy and Sarah are best friends. They are the "popular" girls of middle school. Whatever was discussed amongst them, would be told to everyone by Sarah. Sarah always had gossip. The two had a huge influence over everyone else. Lucy and Sarah bullied Rachael about her appearance and behaviour. But, there was worse to come...
  • On the School Bus, on the Way Home
  • Today was my first day at school and everyone teased and made fun of me just because I like sports and the colour 'Blue'.
  • As the day commenced, recess rolled around. Rachael had no one to sit with so she decided to go to the playground and eat her snack there. Before she knew it, a group of students came and started yelling at poor Rachael. The news about Rachael's "boyish behaviour" had spread and now everyone had something against her. Rachael's day had gone from bad to worse.
  • Rachael took the bus home. She sat on the front row and gazed out of the window, wondering what it was that she had done so wrong for everyone to hate and bully her. A day that she was looking forward to turned out to be her worst nightmare. But it wasn't long until a kind girl from her Rachael's school came up to her...
  • Sure...
  • Rachael and Laura sit down together. Rachael discussed her issues with Laura and Laura was more than happy to help her out. They introduce themselves to each other and soon become friends. Rachael's mood had improved and she was glad she made a friend.
  • On the way home
  • Oh, I see. Don't worry. I think you should just be yourself and prove them wrong. I am Laura by the way, want to be friends?
