Jimmy Wells has to choose his job and arrest Bob or his has to choose his best friend and not arrest him.

Jimmy sees a man at a hardware store at 10 pm. They talk about Bob wanting to see an old friend after twenty years and how the friend will show up. He said he would wait 30 minutes after the waiting time. `
"I was at the appointed place on time. When you struck the match to light your cigar, I saw it was the face of the man wanted in Chicago. Somehow I couldn't do it myself, so I went around and got a plain clothes man to do the job."
A man believed to be Jimmy greets Bob and they take a walk and stop under a street light where they can both see each other. Bob sees that is not Jimmy and that was an undercover cop and Bob was then under arrest.
