Sophia is turning 16 in July and wants to take her L test on her birthday. The first step she will take to complete this test is going to the ICBC licensing office to pick up the "Learn to Drive Smart" book. This will help her study for the test in the next few months.
What does a broken white line in the middle of the road mean?
Lane changing is allowed when safe.
Sophia spent some time in the next few months at home studying the different road signs, safety rules, and ways to operate a vehicle. She also takes the practice test on the ICBC website to better prepare herself.
It's now Sophia's 16th birthday. She went to the licensing office and took her learner's test. After studying the Learner's book, she passed!
Congratulations! You have completed your N test!
It's now August, and Sophia has enrolled in an ICBC approved (GLP) driver's training course. She is taking her driving course with Valley Driving School. She has one year to gain the skills she will need on the road for her N test!
Sophia has been practicing for a while now, getting to practice her route to school, dance, and other routes her driving instructor has taken her on. She also drives with her parents as she has a one supervisor passenger limit.
Sophia's 17th birthday has now passed, and she is taking her N test. She took a route with the examiner that took approximately 45 minutes.
