  • This is Alice Pauls house and family. She had two brothers, Perry and William. One sister, Helen, and two loving parents, Tacie and William Paul. She was born in Moorestown New Jersey, 1886.
  • Aressted and Imprisoned
  • As she got older she went to England to get a Ph.D sociology and got involved in the National American Woman Suffrage Association after meeting friends there.
  • The 19th Amendment
  • Alice Paul led pickets at the white house with other women fighting against women suffrage.
  • Death and Inspiration  
  • Alice Paul and her partners was arrested by the government while picketing at the white house. 
  • With help from Carry Chapman Catt, persuasion was easy to accomplish over the president, Woodrow Wilson. The 19th amendment was born
  • Alice Paul was and inspiration to fight against women suffrage. She worked at the National Women Rights headquarters and died July 19, 1977.
