  • Good Morning! Today we will explore examples of Newton's laws of motion!
  • For Example, this man is about  to hit a golf ball with a stick. The golf ball with remain unmoved unless the man hits it!
  • Newton's first law is that an object in motion will stay in motion, and an object at rest will stay at rest until an unbalanced force acts on it.
  • For example, if you use the same force to push a car and the a truck, the car will have more acceleration than the truck because the car has less mass than the truck.
  • Newton's Second law is F=ma. Force equals mass time acceleration.
  • Newton's third law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction that acts with the same momentum and the opposite velocity.
  • For example, when you jump from a small boat into the water, you will push yourself towards the water, the same force you use to push forward will make the boat move backwards.
  • That's it! Those were three great examples of Newton's three laws of motion!
  • The End
