Examples of Newton's Laws of Motion.
This storyboard does not have a description.
Good Morning! Today we will explore examples of Newton's laws of motion!
For Example, this man is about to hit a golf ball with a stick. The golf ball with remain unmoved unless the man hits it!
Newton's first law is that an object in motion will stay in motion, and an object at rest will stay at rest until an unbalanced force acts on it.
For example, if you use the same force to push a car and the a truck, the car will have more acceleration than the truck because the car has less mass than the truck.
Newton's Second law is F=ma. Force equals mass time acceleration.
Newton's third law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction that acts with the same momentum and the opposite velocity.
For example, when you jump from a small boat into the water, you will push yourself towards the water, the same force you use to push forward will make the boat move backwards.
That's it! Those were three great examples of Newton's three laws of motion!
