Shortly after graduating high school, James begins his freshman year at The University of Tampa.
James finds himself facing a great deal of peer pressure while at school. He is being exposed to others using Percocet and decides to join in. He figures that it is not as big of a deal as cocaine, because that is what all of his friends have been telling him.

After a fair amount of using, James finds himself in desperate situations just to get his hands on Percocet.
Upon returning home,James admits to his parents that he is in need of professional help to treat his addiction.
The first Narcotics Anonymous meeting leaves James in awe. He is surrounded by people coming from all walks of life. This makes him realize that addiction truly can impact just about anyone.
After a lengthy recovery process, James has found himself a new job as a restaurant manager. He still faces the detrimental impact that addiction has left on his life on a daily basis.
