  • Antigone and Ismene argue with  each other because Creon made a law forbidding the burriul of her brother but Antigone insists on breaking the law to dowhats right.
  • Antigone: "Creon is not strong enough to stand in my way."(35) Prolouge
  • Ismene: " Ah sister"(36) prolouge
  • This shows how devoted Antigone morals control how she is reacting to what she thinks is right. 
  • Antigone: "And now you can prove what you are: A true sister, or a traitor to your family."(26-27) Prolouge
  • Ismene: "Antigone, You are mad!" Prologue (28)
  • Antigone: " I will bury him; and if i must die, I say that this crime is hoy: I shall lie down
  • This quote from Antigone shows how she would be willing to sacrifice her life for her brother in order to give  him a proper burial. Her morals outweigh the law
  • Antigone explains to her sister that her morals and the gods laws are more important than the kings.
  • Antigone: "You may do as you like, since the laws of the gods mean nothing to you."
  • Ismene: "They mean a great deal to me; but i have no strength to break laws that were made for the public good."
  • Antigone: " I am not afraid of the danger; if it means death, It will not be the worsts of deaths-death without honor." Prologue (80-81)
  • This shows where Antigone has her priorities and her morals matter more
  • Ismene: "Go then, if you feel that you must." Prologue (82)
  • Antigone explains to the King that no law is more important to her morals and the Kings's power is weak.
  • Antigone: "That final justice that rules the world below makes no such laws. Your edict, king was strong, but all your strength is weakness itself against..." Scene 2 (57-60
