  • Jonathan lives in Northern California and has always liked soccer. He currently plays on a recreational soccer team but he is going to tryout for the high school team.
  • Climax
  • Jonathan tried out for his school team but didn't have the same skills as the premier players who had also tried out. He did not make the team and the other kids make fun of him because he is bad at soccer.
  • Falling Action
  • Jonathan practiced over the summer and with the help of a personal coach he was determined at tryouts to do his best and make the team. He made the high school team but he did not get much playing time. He kept practicing and worked hard to become a better player.
  • Resolution
  • After one of the players gets injured, Jonathan finally got to prove himself to the the rest of the team. He scores a goal and surprises everyone.
  • Jonathan gets more playing time and his teammates begin to trust him and involve him in the plays. He even scores a winning goal.
  • Jonathan had proven himself to his teammates and coaches. Jonathan becomes one of the regular team members and is now friends with the players that once picked on him.
