Hey Desiree, Don't we have to log how many cookies we baked for the bake sale each week?
I baked 100 cookies this week, But how many did I bake last week?
Oh no! we forgot! What are we going to do??!!
Girls, You have to write an equation. like, 3C + 4 = 100
So, how do we figure it out?
And an additional four cookies from what Marilla said.
I think I remember that we Baked Three times more cookies this week than last week.
We have to subtract four from 100, which equals 96. Then we have to divide 96 by three to find the answer.
You're welcome Desiree. I am happy to help. Now you can do two step equations.
96/3 = 32. we baked 32 cookies last week. Thanks Mom!
How do we solve the Equation?
