  • Ch. 1 The Mouse
  • Ch. 1 Lennie and George
  • Ch. 2 The Bunk House
  • Symbolism: In the beginning Lennie wants to keep him mouse. Lennie has always wanted to have his mice alive but an never do that. Lennie loves all his animals dead or alive.
  • Ch. 2 Candy
  • Characterization: George is short dark colored tiny nose everything small. Lennie on the other hand is big huge light colored big hands big shoulders.
  • Ch. 3 What happened in Weed
  • When George and Lennie got into the bunk house the first thing they did was look around. Then, they were greeted my an old man named Candy. Candy then showed them to there bunk and explained to them what to do when they are done unpacking.
  • Ch. 3
  • Characterization: Candy is a tall,stoop-shoulder old man. Candy's dog was old had no teeth smelld so bad.
  • George and Slim were playing cards on day. George felt the need to tell Slim what happened in Weed. George explained the Lennie wanted to touch the girls skirt. Then, the girl thought Lennie wanted to look under her skirt so she screamed and Lennie got scared and ran off.
  • Characterization: Slim is a seemingly ageless man. Always is at peace with himself. Slim gave Lennie a puppy when they came. Nice, funny,kind respectful man.
