Industrialization and Urbanization
We see in the 1900's a boom of urbanization and industrialization happening in the U.S. With it , it brings problems that affect children, the working class, the environment, and the government as a whole. Diseases become more common on the workforce and in the urban cities, which causes the mortality rate of children to rise. We also see a lack of protocols or regulations that help maintain order in the industrial workforce which also causes poverty and illness to rise. This story board expresses the despair of cities during this time in history.
