Storyboard Text

  • I've had this model toy car for two years now. Can I please get hot wheels now? It’s so cool to see the cars with all these cool skulls and flames do front flips. The tracks are so big aswell.
  • You know that the track on the ad isn’t just one track? They have different tracks combined to make it look big.The track you buy at the store is smaller and only has one flip circle not four
  • So what? It still has a good size and it’s still fun to flip and play with the cars even with one flip circle. The ad said it will bring me hours of fun and you won't let me buy it. Why are you so mean?
  • The track is so small that after a week it gets repetitive and then you get bored with it. You don’t wanna play with it anymore then you stuff it under your bed with the rest of the "fun" toys.
  • Lets watch an ad see if it's really like that.
  • ipad
  • See, The ad shows like 20 flip circles and an extremely large track but it's not like that when you get it the store. It's actually very small.
  • ipad
  • It's important to understand that companies use music, voice, colour and exaggeration to make it seem that the product is really good and big but it's not. Every toy company does this.
  • Okay, I see your point. I now know that most ads use exaggeration just like Hot Wheels
