  • Dred Scott sues all the way up to the supreme court on the basis that he was illegaly transported to a free state and that that should change his status.
  • I had gone in a free state, I should have my freedom from slavery and the south
  • James Taney is the chief justice from the supreme court who will help rule on the case.
  • We have heard your argument, we will now deliberate on the issue.
  • Your wrong slavery is bad and should be abolished!
  • I declare that slaves are property and it is illegal to take away property without due process of law, so free states can't stop them now.  Slavery is also now officially legal and approved by the constitution.
