  • We'll have to upgrade our ships someway.
  • That's pretty smart.

Rome's allies in the South ran to Hannibal's side when people started to rebel against Rome. While this all happens Philip V of Greece wages his own war with Rome.
  • If we go to "kill his people" he'll haver to follow us.
  • Hannibal keeps destroying all of the armies we throw at him.
  • He can't do that if we attack his people.
  • The Second Punic War (Africa)-219-201 BCE: The Romans knew they couldn't beat all of the people that opposed them in Italy. So they sailed across the Mediterranean to Northern Africa. The Romans were heading for Carthage and Hannibal was forced to follow them to protect his home. Outside of the walls of Carthage they fought, and the Roman army won. By the end Rome had conquered the known world.
  • Now we wait for Hannibal to arrive.
  • Please Hannibal hurry up.
  • Leave Italy and come home Hannibal.
  • Well that was quick.
  • The Third Punic War-149-146 BCE: After their loss in the second war Carthage was never the same. As the Carthaginians start to rebuild the Romans become wary of them. They tell them to move inland, and they refs A war breaks out and Rome wins in about a short 3 years time frame.
  • Three years. Three short short years.
  • The Carthaginians are done for now.
  • The Effects of the Punic Wars- 264-146: The Romans had been taken from a regional powerhouse to and international imperial threat. It turned Rome into the historical empire we know of today. While Carthage on the other hand was all but destroyed.
