  • I'm Ms. C., I'm Manasseh's 1:1 para.
  • Everyday seems like planning bells are too short. I'm working at home for classroom work and using my planning bell for some type of meeting or personal debriefing time.
  • My classroom has 8 students ( 3 can walk, 2 independently 1 with assistance & 5 in wheelchairs).  Demographics: ages 9-15.  3 boys, 5 girls, All non-verbal, multi-handicapped, all on medication of some sort.  3 eat purred breakfast & lunch and 5 are G-tube fed by nurse. 1 has a 1:1 para because he is a runner/escaped from previous classrooms. NONE of them are potty trained. All are often absent from school due to meal issues.
  • First time paras in MD classroom.  They come from other careers. Mango was a social worker for JFS working with families of children with special needs.  Ms. C was a case manager working with children in foster care/group  homes.
