On April 14, 1865 Lincoln and his wife Mary Todd Lincoln attended a play at Ford's Theater in Washington D.C they were seated in the John Wilkes Booth along with Clara Harris and Henry Rathbone
What amazing seats!!
Around 10 p.m Booth entered the theater, went up to the booth and he shot Lincoln in the back of the head and Rathbone in the arm, he then flew off the stage 11 feet and snapped his fibula bone in his left leg and yelled " As always to Tyrants!"
Lincoln was rushed to the boardinghouse across the street from the theater where he died the following morning
