How does loneliness affect people?
Loneliness can have someone feeling outcast then everyone else.Like feeling unique in a way.
Lennie and Crook were talking and Crook felt outcast because he was the only African American on the farm. With that said it made Crook feel different then then everyone else on the farm. Crook felt if he said something that he would say something then everyone around him would just be like "why it's just a (n) sayin' it." pg 70
Crook is telling Lennie you have someone and I don't.Crook is being outcast he said "S'pose you couldn't go into the bunkhouse and play rummy 'cause you was black."Crook problem is not only is he alone but he can't enjoy like the rest of them and play inside cause he's a different color. pg.72.
Loneliness can make one talk down on the next person.
All along Curley's wife was seeking for attention because apart of her felt alone. She wasn't getting the attention that she wanted until one day she went in the barn with Lennie and that was her last day of breathing.
Curley's wife thought that she could open herself up to Lennie because he didn't say much and he would listen in her eyes. All she wouldn't was attention because curley don't show her much. She wanted the attention so much that she allowed Lennie to touch her hair because she know how much he like soft objects.pg.90-91
