my riasec code

Storyboard Text

  • RIASEC Recollection By: Teonna Masten-Benton
  • Hmm....I wonder what my personality is according to the code
  •
  • Yes, I was wondering about it. Do you know what it is?
  • I overheard you talking about the RIASEC code is it?
  •
  • I took the quiz and found out my code!
  • That's great!
  • As it is well known, Dr. John Holland created the RIASEC code. He also made a hexagonal model that shows how all of the personality traits are connected. This is because everyone interacts with someone and they each have different personalities.
  •
  • Turns out I'm mostly artistic!
  •  R-Realistic,down to earth. I-Investigative, think everything through. A-Artistic, dreamers, see a world of color/ poetry, think deeply. S-Social, talkative, interactive. E-Enterprising, risk taker, entrepreneur. C-Conventional, organized, thorough.
  •
  • My own personal experience taking the survey was quite interesting. However, I have taken something similar to this before so I had an idea of what my dominant trait would be. That was artistic.
  •
  • Criminal justice sounds good to me!
  • My own personal RIASEC code is ASI. Which is: Artistic, Social, and Investigative. These top three aren't surprising considering what they mean. My dominant trait is Artistic. The following are my recessive traits: Social and Investigative.
  • Two careers associated with my code would be a music therapist and working in the criminal justice and law enforcement area (post secondary). The education required for the post secondary work force would be a doctoral degree, a master's degree and some college with no degree.
  • Based on your code, you could also work in a job associated with music or the law.
  • The annual wage for this career is approximately $59,590. There will be 1, 600 job openings within the next few years. The projected growth is faster than average at 10%-14%. In time, I can expect a great career to start.
