And they did make a new constitution that reflected of racist.
We also allow people who grandfather were able to vote are allow to vote now if there grandfather was in 1860 called Grandfather clauses to protect your vote.
But latter on the government was thinking about the people and added a new law.
But most did not agree with it so it caused the Plessy v. Ferguson.
Which made the Supreme Court case upheld the constitutionality of segregation under the “separate but equal” doctrine and it means that racially segregated but ostensibly ensuring equal opportunities to all races.
