Storyboard Text

  • The Romans crossed the seas to Northern Africa, then to a city of Carthage. The Carthage Empire eventually surrendered, but Rome was not satisfied.
  • For two years the Romans were unorganized, and the Carthaginians were able to defend their walls.
  • Scipio Aemilianus then came, properly organizing the Romans. Going into a field battle, and eventually breaking into the walls of the Carthaginians.
  • "The Romans won the third and final Punic War leaving the Carthaginian’s to sign a treaty giving Rome control and leaving Carthage with no military at all."
