  • The American Colonists were dressing up as Indians so they had a way to get on the ship and fight for no taxes by dumping all the tea into the ocean. This all happened on December 16th, 1773 at Boston Harbor. It was at the crack of dawn.
  • -later on that night...
  • Later on that night, the "Indians" snuck onto the ship and dumped about 300 cases of tea into the ocean. They did it because they were mad at the government for taxing their tea and their paper items.
  • we're very sorry about what happened. We are trying our best to figure out who did this
  • who ever did this needs to pay!
  • give us our tea!
  • Once the British government found out that it was the American colonists who dressed up as Indians and dumped the tea, they were furious. They closed down Boston Harbor until all the tea was payed for by the American colonists. No one could come to the harbor and no one could leave.
  • This caused the American Revolution by making the British government mad making them want to fight.
