Storyboard Text

  • Chapter 8
  • "I looked down and found myself clutching a brown woolen blanket I was wearing around my shoulders."
  • Chapter 6
  • "I'm goin' after 'em"
  • "I stood on tiptoe, hastily looked around once more, reached into the hole, and withdrew two pieces of chewing gum."
  • Chapter 4
  • "Don't eat things you find, Scout"
  • This is where Miss Maudie's house got burned so Atticus told Jem and Scout to stand in front of the Radley's House. So that's what they did but Scout was getting cold and Boo saw so he went out of the house quietly and put a blanket around Scout. This shows a coming of age theme because they find out the truth about Boo and they see that he is not what people say he is. They see that is a person who cares about others.
  • In this scene it shows that Jem went to go get his ripped pants back from the Radley House. It shows a coming of age scene  because he doesn't want his dad to be disappointed with him for what he did. He was to be a good son in the eyes of his dad and not let him down.
  • In this part of the book it shows that Jem and Scout were receiving gifts from someone. Its a coming of age scene because it shows love from someone else to Scout and Jem because that person probably wished that someone had love from someone.
