People didn't like the fact that they let colored people play in sports.
In stead of reacting and getting angry with the crowd he played as if it never bothered him.
This changed the way people thought of Black people due to the way he reacted. He didn't do anything to deserve the rage.
Jackie may have had things thrown, been yelled at, but he continued to play and not get paid.
Desegregation began in sports, Robinsons tribute changed the outlook of the nation and led to a complete desegregated Nation.
