Storyboard Text

  • "What had he do wrong?"
  • "Call me The Giver,"
  • "We're almost there, Gabriel."
  • This scene is very similar in the book compared to the play. A small difference is that Asher in the play is the number 18 (the number before Jonas) and in the play he is the number 4. However, everything else in the scene is similar, the assignments give to each twelve, the chief elder skipping and after apologizing to Jonas.
  • All in this scene is the same what they say, the first memory that the Giver gave Jonas, and when the Giver said to Jonas to call him like that " The Giver ".
  • The scene is very similar too, the first part I notice different is is that Jonas was carrying Gabriel and in the book the bicycle had a chair for Gabriel. The part that I am showing he already left the bicycle behind so this moment that I am showing it is the same in the book and the play.
