  • Today class, we are going to talk about the five food groups and why they are important!
  • There are five different food groups: fruit, veggies, grain, protein, and dairy. They all contribute to making you grow strong and healthy
  • Examples of fruits are like apples, bananas, grapes. While vegetables will be celery, carrots, and that broccoli that you push aside on your plate at dinner
  • Your grain includes things like oats, bread, anything with flour so baking. While on the other hand your protein will be eggs, beans, shrimp, chicken
  • And finally! your dairy! this will include like milk , cheese, that favorite ice cream bar you like to eat.
  • Well that all class, make sure you eat all your categories' of food to stay healthy and strong! I'm gonna erase this, have a good day!
