Today class, we are going to talk about the five food groups and why they are important!
There are five different food groups: fruit, veggies, grain, protein, and dairy. They all contribute to making you grow strong and healthy
Examples of fruits are like apples, bananas, grapes. While vegetables will be celery, carrots, and that broccoli that you push aside on your plate at dinner
Your grain includes things like oats, bread, anything with flour so baking. While on the other hand your protein will be eggs, beans, shrimp, chicken
And finally! your dairy! this will include like milk , cheese, that favorite ice cream bar you like to eat.
