The robot catches up to the boy who comes to the realisation that this dimension, when he tries to run, resets, so he is attached to the house.
As the robot reaches towards the boy, its cut between that dimension and the original where his body is unresponsive
The film returns to the robot possessing the boy, killing him
The main characters body disappears in the real world shocking the rest
As the characters run away they faint. When they wake up however they believe they just fell over. They start walking back and when they check back on the photos they took, the group selfie just turns into a picture of the remaining characters
Last shot before title of the film is an incubator activating with the robot walking out.
