English general, Calborne sends troops to St. Dennis to confront patriots, being led by Wolfred Nelson. After 7 hours of fighting and being heavily out numbered as well as having run out of gunpowder, the British retreat stuned.
Upon hearing governor Lord Gosford order his arrest and that of 25 other patriot leaders, Papineau is quick to flee to the United States border and seek safety.
A loyalist force attacks the patriot army barricaded around the manor of St .Charles. The patriots are quickly defeated and this bloody battle marks the end of the Rebellion in Lower Canada.
