Storyboard Text

  • Well maybe they should and they will.
  • I'm so tired of all these government officials thinking they can just chose to do what they want.
  • But what can you do about this, women can't even vote.
  • What is women's suffrage?
  • Today we stand outside the white house for our right to vote, our right to be treated equal. We need to gain suffrage.
  • Women's Suffrage means the legal right for all women to vote. It means we have the right to change society. So what do we want?
  • Women's Suffrage!!!
  • We'll give them what they want.
  • Mr. President what should we do?
  • Today, I, Woodrow Wilson, am happy to announce the creation of the 19th amendment, which will allow women the right the vote.
  • Yay!!!
  • And that class, is how the 19th amendment was made. It allowed women the right to vote and was the start of gender equality movements. Be ready for the test next class.
