There was once a man who lived with his wife and kids in a valley.
Every day he took his flock of sheep up the mountain to let his sheep graze along the mountain top. He often had a chance to hunt down a chamois, who could feed his family for many days.
One day, he found a fine animal and began to pursue it. He chased the animal all the way up the mountain and into a nearby cave. But instead of finding the Chamois, he found something else entirely...
Come with me Shepard
He found a beautiful woman. Who unknowing to him, was the goddess Holda. Holda was being tended to by four gorgeous maids, all five women being dressed in robes that could only be created by gods. He immediately collapsed before them and the god offered him something. All the Priceless gems in the cave, or a sack of oak tree seeds that would make him live as long as the trees didn't die.
He chose the trees. He thanked the goddess Holda and rushed out of the cave, rounded up his flock, and hurried home to plant the seeds. Years upon years passed. The trees didn't die nor did they wither for an uncountable amount of years.
He and his family lived and profited on the apple that fell from their trees. But when he saw that the trees started to wither and die, the goddess Holda returned to him. She asked him to follow her back into her cave and he agreed. Disappearing into the cave with no plan to leave.
