Ready to see the new movie on the big bang theory?
Yeah! I actually am looking forward to it since I don't know anything about it.
Long ago (14 billion years to be more exact) there was a insanely small dot (thousands of times smaller than the head of a pin). This dot has all of the ingredients for the creation of the universe and was very dense and scolding hot to the touch.
This dot (known as the singularity) became so unstable that it exploded with a big bang. This sent matter and energy into space, spreading dust and gas.
Oh look a cloud of dust!
Soon (around 5 billion years ago), the cloud of dust (particularity in the nebula) began to shrink and form a spinning disk (planetoids).
Partials in the disk and collisions with other debris made the disk larger and soon into planets. Some parts of the disk became hot and dense enough to form the sun.
Is that Mars? It sure is warm over here!
That was a great movie! Who knew the universe was thousands of times smaller than the head of a pin?
Eh, it was alright. I already knew most of it, especially the explosion part.
