  • I, Samuel de Champlain announce that this is our last and permanent settlement in the New World.
  • 1791
  • We (The British) have won the war. Now we shall divide Canada into Upper Canada (British) and Lower Canada ( French)
  • 1837
  • I declare that the British North American Act creates the Dominion of Canada.
