"No! I haven't seen it! Nope!" Cona quickly replies. 'She looks suspicious.' Emma thought, 'She has been known to lie, so she may have stolen it'
“Are you sure Cona? If you haven’t stolen it, would you be so kind as to show me what’s the thing shining in your pocket?” Emma smugly says. Cona hesitates with a look of shock plastered over her face. She then sighs, reaches into her pocket and hands Emma her phone.
“I couldn’t help myself! It looked so pretty, and I was just going to borrow it for a second.” Cona shamefully replied. “I’m sorry Emma.” Cona glanced up. Her eyes meeting Emma’s.
Emma was furious with Cona. She had the nerve to steal her phone and lie to her about it! “You stole my phone and lied to me about its whereabouts!” Emphasizing the words lie and you, “Sorry isn’t enough to make me forgive you. I’ve had it with you and your lies!” and Emma storms away from Cona.
