Storyboard Text

  • First of all, the destructive waves hit the cliffs eroding them, using hydraulic action. This is the force of the water hitting the cliffs.
  • Then, the water erodes the cliffs enough to create a cliff
  • Then cracks start to appear in the rock which is caused freeze- thaw weathering, acid rain. This is now turned into an arch.
  • The water keeps on eroding which makes the arch fall because it has no support. This leaves a stack.
  • Then eventually, the water erodes the stack as well leaving a stump.
  • The stump erodes and the process begins again.
