The room next door was all pink, obviously Tiffany's. Ella climbed up to the pink bed, but complained that the ceiling was too low. Tiffany started climbing up the ladder to see if it was true, while Brittney waited at the bottom. "Oh, Shelly. This is really going to be the best birthday sleepover ever! Well, since Judy's. That was to die for," Leslie laughed. "I totally agree," Shelly replied quickly, dodging Ella's glare.
Finally, Leslie opened the door to a blue room. There was a bed, a desk, computer, and school in one corner, and it had a beautiful view of the backyard. One of the best bedrooms yet. "This is yours, Brit! I know you adore art and tech, so I combined them and voila! Tart. Just take a look at your computer!" Leslie raved. Then everyone went to their own rooms to settle in.
"Oh, this is the best birthday ever. I just wish the others could've came as well. They said they were too busy, and they seemed apologetic, but... I just miss them so!" Leslie sobbed. Just then Shelly knocked on the door, but when no one answered, she gently came in, shocked to see Leslie cry. Leslie never cried. Not even the time she got swept away at the beach and ran into a shark. "Leslie, we're ready," Shelly finally says.
The settled in an empty room and sat down while Leslie went over the plans. Then suddenly there was a knock on the back door. "Oh, who could this be?" Ella asked, clearly annoyed. "Probably just the dumb mailman. Isn't that right, Shelly?" Brittny sneered as Tiffany giggled. "Actually, her "mailman" is a "maillady" instead, but you wouldn't know that, would you?" Shelly asked sarcastically.
"Eek! You guys came after all!" Leslie squealed as she saw her other friends. "Of course we are! We wouldn't let our best buddy down! We just wanted it to be a surprise!" A girl named Ana exclaimed eagerly. The other girls shrieked and the jocks hooted in agreement. She sent them to their rooms, stating that they will have the party tomorrow, since she'll party with her other friends first.
When Leslie came back, her friends were gone. They were in her brother's room, looking frightened. "What's wrong?" Leslie asked. "A giant monster started chasing us!" Then suddenly, Lucas appeared out of nowhere and glared at Leslie, who was sitting on his messy bed. Next to him was a lovely girl, his girlfriend, and she was staring awkwardly at the floor.
