Storyboard Text

  • He will be a brilliant slave!
  • Praise God! For he has blessed me!
  • Your God has blessed you. I trust you, come and be in charge of my house.
  • And betray my master?! NEVER!
  • Come on Joseph. KISS ME NOW!
  • Joseph was taken to Egypt by the people his brothers had sold him to (Ishmaelites). Joseph was bought to be a slave in a man called Potiphar’s house. Potiphar was an important man in Egypt.
  • later...
  • Joseph tried to hurt me!
  • Joseph was blessed by God and do Potiphar trusted him. Potiphar made Joseph the slave in charge of all of the house and all of his belongings.
  • Arrest him and put him in prison!
  • Potiphar’s wife liked Joseph and she wanted Joseph to be her husband, even though she already had a husband. This was wrong because God says that marriage is between one man and one woman, for life. Joseph knew that it was wrong, so he told her no and he didn’t listen to her and he tried hard to stay away from her.
  • This made Potiphar’s wife very angry so she decided to lie and said that Joseph had tried to hurt her. This wasn’t true at all, but she wanted to get Joseph into trouble because he wouldn’t do what she wanted him to. Potiphar’s wife tricked Potiphar by lying to him about Joseph, saying that he tried to hurt her.
  • KILL HIM! No that's to harsh...PUT HIM IN PRISON!
  • This made potiphar very angry, so he arrested Joseph and threw him into prison.
  • But I didn't do anything wrong!
  • But God blessed Joseph even when he was in prison. God was still with Joseph and was in control.
