  • Priests were general only permitted to wearing linen clothing and white sandals.    Priests wore a leopard skin over their linen clothing which was held in position by a strap over one shoulder. The priests are the third most respected at the social pyramid,in  fact being a priest was not so easy of  job. In order to be a priest you had avoid certain foods like fish he also had to clean your body by bathing in holy pools three times a day you also had to shave the hair of your head.
  • -The High Priest advised the pharaoh and oversaw all religious ceremonies.  - Temple priests were in charge of the temples scattered throughout Egypt.A temple priest's primary job was to take care of his temple's special god in a variety of ways. -Other priests handled more common concerns and requests. They gave advice and performed healing. Another important fact about being a priest is that you can be a boy a girl.
