- If we use technology, we can reduce our water per capita!
- In the United States, we use 3.26% of our water for domestic use.
- By using low flow shower heads, we can reduce that amount per capita by 60% each month.
- This piece of technology can help us save water when we shower. It works by using smaller amounts of water but pushes the water through smaller holes creating more pressure making it feel like it is using more water than it is. Showering with a regular shower head uses440 gallons. If we use low-flow shower heads, we will save178 gallons. That is useful because then there would be more water preserved. - We use 3.16% of our fresh water supply for domestic water use such as faucets, toilets, laundry, and showering. To solve one of those problems we should use low-flow shower heads. It will save us a lot of water and we will besaving more water for everyone and theenvironment.
